Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, at Atlanta and married to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is part of the fourth generation of Robertses to live in the Atlanta region, beginning in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. The Robertses' father was interested in the theatre at a young childhood. He was an actor on the Emory University campus in 1952 and was also involved in productions outside of Atlanta. While stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he was part of a military unit in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. They married in 1955. Their first son, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. The couple divorced in 1957. the military and Walter enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began working with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved to Decatur Georgia. In 1964 Walter together with Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television show called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they designed and funded. In 1964, Betty Lou and Walter founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. The organization lasted for a total of the duration of six years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley along with Julia Billingsley.
